Living Amidst Sweeping Lies with Sustaining Truth (Psalm 12)
Psalm 12 is a Psalm in the form of lament where David describes his problem, petitions the Lord for help and then rests in God's continued protection from evildoers. David's confidence is in the perfect Word of God and Yahweh Himself who declares He will arise. This Psalm aptly describes the day we live. We have hope that God hears, God understands, God will act, and that God's Word is true; all a refreshing contrast to those who surround David.
