Living Out Our Faith with Our Plans (Jas 4:13-17)
Pastor Matt Hilbert - We make countless decisions and plans each and every day. But often we do not stop to think about how we are making those plans. Are we making those plans in light of our Christian faith, or have we left God out of the picture? In James 4:13-17, James highlights the dangers of making plans without God and, instead, gives us guidance on how to live out our Christian faith in the way we make our plans by recognizing God’s sovereignty, submitting to His will, seeking to please and glorify God with our plans, and making decisions in the freedom and comfort God’s sovereignty gives.
