The Security and Sufficiency of Our Great Shepherd - Part 2 (Psalm 23)
Our Shepherd, none other than the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, provides us with the security and sufficiency that we need for life on this earth and life in eternity with Him. David uses the metaphor of shepherd and sheep to portray the relationship that the Lord has with those know His voice and follow Him. This Psalm follows a progression from delighting in the works of the Shepherd on our behalf to delighting in the Shepherd Himself.
Scripture References: Psalms 23:1-6
