Consequences of Departing from The Truth, Part 2 (2 Timothy 2:14-19)

Serious consequences befall man when he departs from the Truth of God’s Word. When we depart from truth, whether that departure is by accepting false doctrine, by telling lies, or by behaving in a way contrary to the revealed Truth, we can be sure that the ensuing consequences will follow and they will be felt. Pastor Diceanu expounds on these consequences and the need for constantly reminding ourselves of the gospel, the Word of God, and the Truth of God’s scriptures in this message on 2 Timothy 2:14-19.

This tenth installment in Pastor Diceanu’s series, “Passing on the Truth,” on 2 Timothy, entitled “Consequences of Departing from The Truth, Part 2 (2 Timothy 2:14-19),” is now available for download.

Pray for Cliff Reynold’s Dad

“But as for me, my prayer is to you, O LORD. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.”  Psalm 69:13

As you know, Cliff is one of our missionaries serving in England.  Recently Cliff’s dad has taken a turn in his health. He had surgery yesterday and is recovering in the hospital for about a week.  Pray for Bruce and his wife Kathy as he recovers as well as for Cliff and Ali.  This will be difficult for Cliff to be away from his family during this time.

Memory verse for the week of April 15th, 2012:

6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
