About:
Fellowship and Discipleship are an important part of the life of our church. Much of this happens through informal personal relationships that have developed over a life-time of service and ministry here at First Baptist of Farmington. However, there are two ministries that act as starting points to both fellowship and discipleship, and are integral to the spiritual lives of the members of our church. The first is the Sunday School hour, where the Bible is taught and relationships are built on Sunday mornings before the main service.
The second is our “2:42″ small group ministries, named after Acts 2:42 describing those in the early church who, “devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” This verse describes our aim for these groups as places where church members meet in each others houses, have Bible studies, and share prayer requests and pray for each other. Please see a pastor or contact the leaders of these groups for more information.
